Resumen

Este trabajo busca ser un sumario analítico y crítico de las publicaciones 2020-2021 enfocadas al tema de la tercera edad, coronavirus y políticas sanitarias. A partir del análisis de las mismas se postula el surgimiento de un “edadismo sanitario”, por el cual, a nombre del “cuidado” se ha confinado y encerrado a los adultos mayores, indicando que las decisiones sanitarias tomadas han implicado un nuevo retroceso de la imagen del adulto mayor a lo vetusto, lo decrépito, en una fantástica resurrección del paradigma de la vulnerabilidad en la tercera edad.
